Auping Evolve mattress - I-Y-X
The ticking
The top layer of the mattress, the ticking, is made of polyester and therefore very ventilating. The ticking has no topstitching and that is why it’s elastic and extra soft.
The ticking contains no wool, is removable and easily washable at 40 degrees. Ideal for people with wool or house dust mite allergy.
Comfort Layer
A comfortlayer is the first layer in the mattress so you sleep comfortably. The comfort layer of Auping Evolve is a 4.5 cm high 3D polyester knitted fabric.
This 3D layer has an open structure, which does not retain moisture and ventilates the mattress as much as possible. In addition, this special comfort layer is highly elastic, so the mattress adapts to your body well. This provides good support and great comfort.
Niaga® Adhesive
Auping Evolve is the first mattress without foam and without glue. The components of the mattress are held together by polyester yarn and a special bonding system: Niaga Adhesive. The beauty of this bonding system is that the heat bonding is reversible, without leaving residual materials behind like with glue. In this way, the mattress is easy to disassemble and recycle, without any loss of quality of the materials.
Niaga Adhesive was developed by DSM-Niaga. Auping and Niaga have a patent on the circular mattress, in which we use Niaga®Technology.
Circularity passport
At Auping, we believe it is important to manufacture as locally as possible and to know exactly where all the components originate. That’s why we’ve made that transparent and recorded it in a Circularity passport. Scan the Niaga label on the side of the Auping Evolve and discover precisely what makes up this mattress.
Honest and transparent.
Download the NXP (NFC Tagstore) app on your smartphone and hold your phone against the Niaga label. Just like contactless payment.
Pocket springs
Auping Evolve is made of new materials in a completely new design. In the centre of this mattress is a pocket spring core with 3 zones, specially developed for Auping. Made of only 2 materials; steel and polyester.
Based on new insights, we reviewed the structure and zoning. Auping Evolve has been developed to match the most common body profile. As a result, the mattress offers good support to as many people as possible. An Auping mattress is built up asymmetrically from the head end, so the zones are always in the right place.
Without noticing, you turn about 30 times a night and with these pocket springs your sleep will not be disturbed.
The underside of Auping Evolve
The underside of Auping Evolve consists of a felt base made of polyester. This felt base provides a stable basis, good ventilation and is circular.
All Auping mattresses are suitable for all bed bases and are available in a variety of sizes, both single and double, up to 220 cm in length.
Auping Evolve
the first circular mattress in the world
Auping developed a mattress, the materials of which can be reused continuously to make a new mattress: Auping Evolve. This mattress is not only good for the environment, it is also really good for a great night’s sleep. Because we leave out the foam, the mattress is very soft and also extra ventilating. That is a bonus because it means you will lie comfortably, perspire less and sleep more soundly.

How well can you recycle our mattresses?
About 35 million mattresses are discarded and thrown away in Europe alone every year. Many mattresses are burned or end up on the rubbish dump. At Auping, we want to do this differently. Better.
Mattresses are difficult to recycle due to the complex composition of glued materials. At Auping, we develop mattresses that are as recyclable as possible. Auping Inizio scores a B label.
The materials can be reused continuously to make new mattresses. That is circular.
Don’t be ashamed. A big part of the materials is reused to make, for example, a judo mat or sound insulation. We call it downcycling.
The materials are ground down into granules that are burned in the incinerator. The heat released in this process is used to generate electricity.
The materials end up as landfill.
Did you know that a lot of mattresses end up in the rubbish dump unnecessarily? Therefore, always take your old mattress to an Auping store or waste disposal station for the best possible processing.
