Auping Maestro mattress
The cover
The top layer of the mattress, or the cover, is soft, breathable, and can be cleaned.
The Maestro mattress covers are available in two variants, which are both zippered and removable, making them easy to clean.
The Breeze cover features Climawatt for even better ventilation and an extra soft feel. This cover does not contain any wool and can be washed in the washing machine at 60°C. It’s perfect for people who suffer from wool or dust-mite allergies.
The Nature cover is made of wool and feels incredibly soft. This cover can be cleaned chemically.
Vita Talalay Origins®
All Auping mattresses contain latex in the comfort layer for resilience when lying down. The Maestro mattress has Vita Talalay Origins® inside of them.
Vita Talalay Origins® is unparalleled in terms of resilience and ventilation. This comfort layer is made from unique natural latex, which is manufactured in a highly sustainable manner and without any artificial additions. It is the only latex layer in the world with a Cradle to Cradle Gold Certificate. So, you can sleep extra soundly.
Pressure distributor
The Auping Maestro mattress has five zones; each zone supports a specific part of the body: head, shoulders, lower back, hips, and legs.
A pressure distributor lies on top of the DPPS® pocket springs.
A pressure distributor ensures a smooth transition between the different zones. This boosts your comfort when lying down and guarantees the mattress is well ventilated.
DPPS® pocket springs
At the heart of every Auping mattress, you will find our unique DPPS® pocket springs, which offer optimal support, allowing you to turn around effortlessly, without waking up.
DPPS® stands for: Dynamic Progressive Pocket Springs. These pocket springs have been specifically developed for Auping. The spring (in a pocket) is asymmetrical. It is flexible at the top and more sturdy at the bottom.
During the night, we unconsciously turn over about 30 times, but thanks to the DPPS® pocket springs, you are guaranteed a blissful sleep.
The bottom of an Auping mattress
The bottom of an Auping mattress consists of a felt base and a polyether foam.
The anthracite felt base provides a stable basis and good ventilation. The polyether foam that lies on top of the felt bottom is perforated for even better ventilation. All Auping mattresses consist of carefully stacked layers. Everything is just where it should be, and the additional advantage is that you never need to turn your mattress ever again.
All Auping mattresses are suitable for all bed frames and are available in a variety of sizes, both single and double, up to 220 cm.

How well can you recycle our mattresses?
About 35 million mattresses are discarded and thrown away in Europe alone every year. Many mattresses are burned or end up on the rubbish dump. At Auping, we want to do this differently. Better.
Mattresses are difficult to recycle due to the complex composition of glued materials. At Auping, we develop mattresses that are as recyclable as possible. Auping Inizio scores a B label.
The materials can be reused continuously to make new mattresses. That is circular.
Don’t be ashamed. A big part of the materials is reused to make, for example, a judo mat or sound insulation. We call it downcycling.
The materials are ground down into granules that are burned in the incinerator. The heat released in this process is used to generate electricity.
The materials end up as landfill.
Did you know that a lot of mattresses end up in the rubbish dump unnecessarily? Therefore, always take your old mattress to an Auping store or waste disposal station for the best possible processing.
